Puppy Kindy -Mondays

Puppy Kindy is a fully directed and supervised 8-week rotational program from 7:30-1:00pm that covers weekly core elements along with introductions to new situational objects and noises. 

The purpose of the program is to assist puppies in developing confidence and resilience in changing environments, minimising emotional behavioural responses later in life. 

Objects and noises exposures run over a three-week period with slow introductions with gradual increases to exposure followed by slow removal of exposure. Puppies are supported in remaining calm and confident during the changes to environment.

Covered weekly 

• Husbandry techniques - Nails, Ears, Teeth, Eyes - developing calmness of touch
• Grooming - Brushing, Nails, Clipper Noises and vibrations, bathing noises such as water and drier
• Social skills
• Changes to the environment 
• Noises - weekly unexpected noises
